What to do about kids trespassing on our yard?
My family just moved to a new house a month ago. Theres a fence in our backyard though Our house is at a corner and it's clearly private property. There have been a couple of occasions where children (like 9-13 year olds) have been opening our gates and running around in our backyard and by our garage and they know we live here, but their parents aren't around to tell them to get out. We haven't gotten ADT security installed yet (though we plan to) and my parents refuse to put up no trespassing signs on the yard since they think they'll just be ignored. So how do you deal with kids trespassing on your property?
The simple way is just LOCK the gate. Kids seem to get the idea when it doesn't open.
